How to Protect Your Videos with Password Protect Video Master V8




If you have some video files that you want to keep private and secure from unauthorized access, you may want to use Password Protect Video Master V8, a powerful tool for video encryption. With this software, you can create a password to protect your video and audio files on your computer, and save them as an EXE file that can only be played with the correct password. You can also customize the appearance and behavior of the protected video, such as adding a movie poster, setting a password expiration date, disabling playback in virtual machines, and preventing screen capture.

In this article, we will show you how to use Password Protect Video Master V8 to protect your videos in a few simple steps.


Step 1: Download and install Password Protect Video Master V8




You can download Password Protect Video Master V8 from the official website[^2^] or from other trusted sources. The software is compatible with Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 10. After downloading the setup file, run it and follow the instructions to install the software on your computer.


Step 2: Launch the software and add your video files




After installing the software, launch it from the desktop shortcut or the Start menu. You will see the main interface of the software, which looks like this:


To add your video files that you want to protect, click on the "Add Video Files" button at the top left corner. You can also drag and drop your video files into the software window. The software supports most video file formats, such as WMV, AVI, MPG, VOB, MOV, MP4, FLV, MKV, M2TS, and RMVB.


After adding your video files, you will see them listed in the software window. You can preview them by clicking on the "Play" button at the bottom right corner. You can also edit them by clicking on the "Edit" button at the bottom left corner. You can crop, trim, rotate, flip, add watermark, or adjust brightness and contrast of your video files.


Step 3: Set a password and other options for your video files




To set a password for your video files, click on the "Set Password" button at the top right corner. You will see a window like this:


You can choose one of the three password modes: Single Password Mode (one password for all video files), Each Password Mode (different passwords for each video file), or User Computer ID Binding Mode (password based on user's machine ID). You can also set a password hint and a playback password expiration date.


After setting a password for your video files, you can also customize other options by clicking on the "Options" button at the top right corner. You will see a window like this:


You can choose whether to show or hide some buttons on the protected video player, such as play/pause, stop, volume, full screen, etc. You can also choose whether to allow or forbid some actions on the protected video player, such as copy/paste,


drag/drop, print screen, etc. You can also set a custom message or image to show when someone tries to play the protected video without a password.


Step 4: Save your video files as EXE files




After setting a password and other options for your video files, you are ready to save them as EXE files that can only be played with the correct password. To do this, click on the "Start" button at the bottom right corner. You will see a window like this:
