Activity #1: Treasure basket

This is a great and simple activity for the sensory experience. Instead of using toys, which is something they get to play with every day, try different random objects that have a variety of colors, and textures. Fill a basket with all these different objects. (Of course, always make sure that these objects are safe for your kid) When giving the basket to your kid just sit back and watch what they are interested in and how they are interacting with these objects.

Activity #2: Dance Party

Yep, as easy as 1,2,3! Just put on some music and have fun. Not only will this help burn a lot of energy but it will create some pretty great memories for the whole family. It is even better when parents are part of the dance party!.

Activity #3: Sorting toys by color

Sorting toys by color can help improve your kid’s cognitive development skills. This is a great way for your kids to have fun while doing something they are naturally interested in toys and colors. You only need some toys and colored baskets. If you don't have colored baskets you can also use paper and paint each with a different color. Then you can play along with your kids and help them review color names.
